Q. Do VaultOne provide the products & services?
A. No, VaultOne does not provide the actual product or service. VaultOne act as a referral source for the Service provider and ensure that 30% of the commission is paid to the not for profit organisations.
Q. If the charity receives 30% of the commission who receives the other 70%?
A. VaultOne receives 15% of the total commission in order for them to be able to provide this service to cover running costs. The service provider receives the other 55% as a payment for their work in providing the service.
Q. What is the catch?
A. There is no catch, VaultOne has been formed solely to generate money for not for profit organisations and we give away more than we earn.
Q. Is there any cost?
A. There is no cost to access the product/service through VaultOne.
Q. How will the client know the donations are being made to the not for profit organisation?
A. Once the not for profit organisation has been paid, the client will receive notification of the amount they have donated.
Q. How does the not for profit organisation know who the payment is from?
A. Due to the Privacy Act VaultOne is unable to disclose who donated the monies. However VaultOne send the client a form when the first payment is made so you can notify the not for profit organisation of your good deed.
Q. Can the donation be claimed as a tax deduction?
A. No. This is because the donor did not earn the money.
Q. Where does the money come from that is donated?
A. It is paid by the service provider to VaultOne.
Q. Is the commission factored into any of my payments ie: do I pay the commission?
A. No, the commission is paid by our alliance partner and it is not factored into any of the payments you make for your product/service.
Q. Who pays the charity?
A. VaultOne pay the charity direct. The only exception is with the Financial Planning products, in this case our alliance partner will pay the charity direct and advise us as to when payment has been made.
Q. What would happen if VaultOne was to close down?
A. In this case it would not affect the product or service you have received as VaultOne acts only as the referral agent. The product and services are provided by reputable companies in their own industry. If VaultOne closes the commissions are still paid by the provider and will be paid directly to the charity.

Q. How can charities promote VaultOnes services to their members?
A. Each charity will be given individualised assistance in establishing their own campaign. VaultOne will assist in the printing of materials and developing any form of marketing and corporate sponsorship campaign, at no costs.
Q. What does a not for profit organisation have to do to qualify?
A. Be legally registered to raise funds and also submit a complete Expression of Interest form.
Q. What is a not for profit organisation?
A. A not for profit organisation is an organisation that is formed without any intent to make a profit for its investors. Instead, the purpose of the not for profit is to generate income for a charitable, religious, educational, literary, or a scientific purpose.
